REVIEW: Feathers and Fae by Crystal L. Kirkham

Emmett and Kami have always been best friends, but Emmett has been keeping secrets. His past catches up with him when a dark fae known as the Erlkrönig chases them into the realm of Mythos. In this strange world, Kami has the ability to know when people are lying. Unfortunately, that means she knows that everything Emmett has ever told her was a lie-even his name!

Emmett needs Kami to trust him enough to get her back to safety. It’s a fine line to walk between lies and truth, and the dangerous journey ahead will put their friendship to the test. As the Erlkrönig closes in on them, the web of lies Emmett has built begins to unravel and Kami demands the truth-a truth that will shake the foundations of everything she ever believed.

Not my normal read but this did not disappoint at all. Such a wonderful young adult fantasy book. Angels, Fae, Reapers, Seer's, Yeti, do many amazing different creatures that this author created in this world.

This book is about two humans that are being tracked by an evil creature. So much unfolds in this story, they go through different realms to escape and save their lives.

Em or Emmett or Emeniel is the secretive protective man of the story. I just love his character, so protective and powerful even though nobody knows it. He cares more than he should but keeps it all to himself even though it kills him.

Kami is something else entirely so strong and stubborn and free spirited. When you learn what she really is her personality really makes sense.

Im trying not to give away spoilers but its so hard because this is a must read for anyone that loves fantasy and getting transported through a book to another world in this case numerous worlds.

I will be on the lookout for more by this author she is amazing.
