REVIEW:Rock Chick Regret (Rock Chick #7) by Kristen Ashley

Sadie Townsend is known by all as The Ice Princess and she’s worked hard to earn her reputation. Her father, a now-incarcerated Drug Lord, has kept her under his thumb her whole life and she’s learned enough from living in his world to give everyone the cold shoulder. But one inebriated night, she shows the Real Sadie to the undercover agent she knows is investigating her father, the handsome Hector Chavez, and he knows he’ll stop at nothing to have her.

Hector makes one (huge) mistake; he waits for Sadie to come to him. Tragedy strikes and Sadie’s got a choice, she can retreat behind her Ice Fortress or she can embrace the Rock Chick/Hot Bunch World. Guided by Hector, the Rock Chicks, the Hot Bunch and her new gay roommates, Buddy and Ralphie, Sadie negotiates a life out from under her father’s thumb, a life that includes poison, arson and learning how to make s’mores.

Oh man Hector Oh My God Chavez is something else for sure. I loved Eddie when I read about him and Jet but man Hector is so feisty and commanding, oh man its just amazing. This is definitely a must read in the Rock Chick Series.

Sadie has such a heart wrenching story. The more you learn about her and what she has gone through the more this book will bring tears to your eyes. I definitely cried while reading this book.

Kristen Ashley brings the trauma and abuse the rock chicks deal with to a more extreme kick in the gut turn of events in this book. I love it but also hate what happens to Sadie at the same time.

She is such a rock having dealt with a criminal father all her life. The way she sees herself and how she has to protect herself from everyone and Hector especially is amazing. I just love Sadie.

By far one of the best love stories so far in the series in my opinion.

REVIEW:Rock Chick Reckoning (#6) By Kristen Ashley

Rock Chick Reckoning By Kristen Ashley (#6)

Stella’s the lead singer and lead guitarist of The Blue Moon Gypsies and Stella used to be Mace’s girl. Mace broke up with her, though, and the loss of him rocked her world. But Stella gets a call, late at night (again) from one of the members of her crazy band. She has to go play clean up (again) and runs into Mace and a shed load of police, and ends up getting shot.

Mace finds he doesn’t like it much that his ex-girlfriend got shot right in front of him but it’s worse. A very bad man has thrown down the gauntlet and all the Rock Chicks are in the firing line. Stella doesn’t want Mace to be the one to keep her alive, but she has no choice. Mainly because Mace isn’t giving her one.

Oh man this was another great book in the Rock Chick series. This one was a lot different, It doesn't just have the main female lead in danger it has them all in danger and the hot bunch boys trying to protect everyone and do the right thing.

The author definitely stepped up the action in this book for sure.

Mace is just wow a fascinating character and his history and past with his family has definitely effect him and his personal life in massive impacts.

Stella was with Mace for 9 months and adored and fell for him and then he just up and left and broke her heart. She put up so many walls after and to deal with her family past and the abuse she went through. Man i feel for this girl, its all so much to handle.

Their love story is amazing and them opening up to each-other about their individual trauma and why they have done what they have done to each-other.

Such a crazy ride for sure. But I just love this one the author wrote in chapters for some of the other Rock Chick's point of views and it was amazing.

Cant wait to read the next novel in this series eek.

REVIEW:Rock Chick Revenge By Kristen Ashley

Ava hates men, she has reason and she’s vowed not only never to get involved with another one again but also to exact vengeance on her best friend’s, lying, cheating husband. Since Luke, Ava’s childhood crush, is now a private investigator, she thinks to enlist him but changes her mind at the last second.

Too late, Luke knows she’s up to something and he’s already seen many a Rock Chick try to fight her own battles without the Hot Bunch stepping in. He’s having none of it. She’s having none of him. The clash of the Rock Chick and Hot Guy begins but Luke’s got the advantage. He has handcuffs and he’s not afraid to use them.

Oh man this was really a different kind of Rock Chick book. I was glad to see it was finally Luke's turn for a chance. U get to know him a little in the last two books. So you get teased by the strong force that is Lucas Stark.

Ava oh man she is so not what you expect for a woman that ends up with Luke. Because she is honestly so sweet and good and bears her heart on her sleeve.

They are constantly angry or jealous or fighting and its friggin hillarious. Within the first few chapters he handcuffs her twice to the bed and can i just say its so Hott.

I struggle with Luke though because he has flirted with Jet and tried to get with Jules and of course Ava finds out and loses it as I would too. I so see her side of that and feeling less for being second or third place. But in reality its not true.

Luke's alpha domonant side is definetely over the top compared to the other men in the series. He wants to do something he does it and usually its dragging Ava off over his shoulder. Again very extremely hott.

Ava finds an insane amount of truble in this book. Her friends husband going after her, her personal trainer trying to hook up with her, her friends husbands cousin trying to get her away  from Stark into his bed, her ex kidnapping and assaulting her. Not to mention all the relationship stuff going on with her and Luke.

Kristen Ashley definitely pushed up the action and bad guy quota in this book. Constant non stop action and drama and erotic fun in this book.

REVIEW:Rock Chick Renegade by Kristen Ashley

Jules has got a score to settle against the drug dealers of Denver. Vance has made it his mission that Jules won’t get dead while dishing out vigilante justice. Jules doesn’t have time for romance, she’s too busy saving the world and she enlists Zip (the gunstore owner), Heavy (an ex-PI) and Frank (a mysterious recluse) to help.

The Rock Chicks of Fortnum’s Bookstore get involved to provide romantic advice and guidance, none of which Jules accepts at first. The Hot Bunch of Nightingale Investigations adopt Jules as one of their own. Even though Jules tries to hang on to her inner Head Crackin’ Mamma Jamma, the Rock Chicks; Hot Bunch; Jules’s long-suffering Uncle Nick; Jules’s friend the rotund, African-American, Jackie-O wannabe, May; and especially Vance will stop at nothing to wear her down.

But Jules makes some bad guys pretty angry and one is dedicated to taking her out. Vance and the Hot Bunch have to pull out all the stops to keep her alive. At the same time, Jules and Vance learn the true meaning of home but once they find this precious entity they’ve been searching for all their lives, will Jules’s enemies tear it away?

Oh man yet another amazing book by Kristen Ashley. Vance and Jules have a completely different dynamic than the rest of the girls for sure. For one when Jules tells him to back off, he does and everyone her included thinks he took off and abandoned her. So everyone is angry with him when in reality he is giving her space to figure out what she wants and needs.

In the midst of this Jules and Luke become friends and Luke gets a little too close, needless to say Vance freaks the f out loll. Totally worth reading that part cause he did it to himself.

I love Vance's character ever the cool cucumber zen dude he reads a ton of books but still a complete bad-ass that will protect her with his life. Jules is another story, she lost a kid in her social work and found his body and ends up going after the drug dealers that caused his death and crosses paths with the boys and Vance when she becomes a target.

Love their dynamic, him with all his experience relationship and sexual and her with absolutely none on both accounts. It makes for a interesting and different relationship and dynamic in the story.

Cant wait to read more in this series. Luke's story is up next cant wait to see what happens.

REVIEW:Rock Chick Redemption(Rock Chick #3) by Kristen Ashley

Roxie’s on the run from a bad boyfriend who will not catch the hint that it is o-v-e-r. She’s in no mood for love at first sight, but when her eyes fall on Hank, it’s trouble from the get-go. Roxie tries to hold Hank at arms length but Hank wants to be a closer (as in, a lot closer). Roxie’s trouble catches up with her and Hank wants to help but Roxie knows in her heart that she’s no good for a white hat guy. The problem is no one agrees with her, especially her crazy hippie best friend Annette or her parents; the even crazier small-Indiana-town Herb and Trish. Toss into the mix the gang from Rock Chick and Rock Chick Rescue and Roxie finds herself totally outnumbered.

Climb in for another Rock Chick wild ride through Rock Chick Redemption. As the odds stack up against Roxie, she has no choice but to hold on and just ride it out through the kidnappings, car chases, society parties, a riot at the strip club, Hank getting “Mom Bombed” and one crazy night at the Haunted House.

During all this Hank works at convincing her she really wants to stay and he, along with the Hot Bunch, go all out to make her safe. Hank also needs to work on showing Roxie that her past decisions don’t mean her future can’t include something as downright delicious as… normal.

Oh man, Roxie and Hank is quite the story. I didn't think any of the other stories would get to me quite like Eddie but man Hank and Roxie's story had me crying quite a few times. Such a wonderfully powerful story for them.

You really see a different light to Hank in this book. In the others you see him as the good cop guy next door but man does he have a bad-ass will do whatever he has to for his woman side and definitely a side of naughty.

Roxie is Tex's niece and shows up full of trouble on her tail but a mission to reunite her uncle and mom. They definitely share the loud crazy part of their family. God do they make you crack up laughing so much during this book.

Im not gonna lie i really wanted her or hank to just kill her ex Billy. Everything he had done to her and what he planned to do to Hank. Yeah i prayed someone killed him off.

This is an amazing action packed love/naughty story and its so a must read. It will make you cry however so be warned.

Liz’s hands shook as she turned the lock, shutting herself alone in the library with Zack. This was likely the single stupidest thing she’d ever done, but after years of pining for and being in love with him, she couldn’t walk away without knowing how a night with him would feel. She should be in her bed right now, trying to find sleep. But she’d seen the light on and known he’d be here. Like a freaking moth to a flame, she’d found herself leaving the safety of her bedroom and walking right into the predator’s den. Trembling, she turned now and looked at the only man she’d ever truly loved. He needed her tonight. She saw it in his stare, in the way he clenched his fists at his sides. How much character and willpower had it taken him to allow her this choice? She admired him even more for finding the strength, especially since she’d long suspected that under his façade of intellectualism and perfect manners, he hid a beast. Tonight, she would find out if she’d been right. Liz had no illusions. He was capable of breaking her heart into a million pieces, and she’d try not to let him. But even if she only got one night with this man, she would take it because she would rather live with foolish regret than stubborn ignorance. “Elizabeth.” His voice hummed in the quiet room, caressing between her ears, vibrating through her body. She flushed with arousal. This was it. This was happening. She’d wanted him the moment they’d met, but he’d been forbidden. Now, he stood in front of her with his broad shoulders and his dark hair. Not a president, but a man. Herman—at least for the night. Liz tried to steady her breathing as she crossed the room to him. Finally, she had permission to touch him the way she’d always wanted. Of course she’d heard him say tonight would be his way all the way, that it wouldn’t be tender, but she wanted one sweet moment she could cling to later before her man turned beast. She stopped in front of him and reached up, brushing her fingers against the sliver threaded at his temples—the only sign that he was aging. Naturally, it made him even more attractive. He caught her hand, clasping it in his big one. “Be sure.” That was Zack, always putting others first, even when his whole world was falling apart. Even when he needed so desperately for himself. Tonight, she was here for him in every way. Liz hoped with all her heart he understood that. She would cling to him through the bittersweet hours until dawn, memorizing every touch. Tomorrow they would go back to their corners, and the turmoil would start again. It would be worse because she would know exactly how good it felt to be in his arms. But their passion could only be temporary because he was right, any chance they’d had at a future had died the day Joy had. After her murder and three long years, how could they ever hope for more? “I’m sure,” she murmured. “I want everything you have to give me tonight.”
