REVIEW The Drunken Promise By Max Watson

The Drunken Promise is a steamy romance novella that explores coming-of-age love, heartbreak, overcoming tragedy, and rebuilding what was once lost.

Blue and I, we've been through everything together. She's been my best friend ever since I can remember, all the way through now, our senior year of high school. And she still has no idea that I'm in love with her. When she asks to have her first time with me, only because she trusts me so much, I'm not sure I can go through with it. That must be why she got me drunk before making me promise I would. But it turns out to be the best decision-drunk or not-that I've ever made. Now that we've had our first time, Blue wants to be friends with benefits. One step closer to a real relationship.

But then my worst nightmare comes true. She stops speaking to me. Just like that, she wants nothing to do with me. Does she know the truth of my love for her but she doesn't feel the same? If only things could go back to how they used to be...if only I had never made that promise.

Years pass and everything is a blur after the accident. Will I ever be able to tell fantasy from reality? Nothing makes sense anymore. All I have ever wanted, all I continue to yearn for, is Blue. Now, she's out of reach more than ever before.

Fall in love with Black and Blue in The Drunken Promise, a steamy romance with a lot of twists and a happy ending.

PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED AS BLACK & BLUE

Omg this book was amazing and so heart wrenching. The first half of the book was full of romance and teen frustration and angst. The second half was so sad and heart breaking I cried through reading the entire last half of the book.

I love Blue and Black they are so amazing. Black feels everything and no matter what always wants the best for Blue whether he is happy or not.

This author definitely knows how to trick and deceive u so you arnt expecting the ending. Such a page turning i absolutely couldn't put it down I just sat and read it all day.

REVIEW: Sunset Dreams Doubled By Blair Presley

I’m Dale Summers, and things are about to get very spicy with not one hot guy but TWO.

Bel-Air society isn’t ready for me. I’m Dale Summers, and things are about to get very spicy with not one hot guy but TWO. They’re called the Weston brothers & they’re about to rock my world...

There are two types of people in Bel-Air. Old money and new money. I’m part of the former. Born and bred here. It’s my life. And it’ll be the death of me. That is until I meet the the Weston brothers. They’re hot, like, really hot. They turn my world around in a good way, in a heart-stopping, panty-scorching, amazing kind of way.
The problem is, my ex is hanging around. He refuses to let go of what we had. And no matter how many times I try to tell him that it’s over, he keeps reappearing in my life like an ominous shadow that I just can’t shake.
The stakes are high in Bel-Air. You have millionaires, and then you have billionaires. Nobody wears fake Prada, but their smiles are as fake as their promises. But me? I’m learning who my real friends are. And with two gorgeous twin guys on my arms who actually care about me... well, let’s just say my life has suddenly gotten a lot more interesting.
Can love survive in the trenches of Bel-Air, where people turn on a dime? You decide.

I really enjoyed this book, It had quite an interesting dynamic with not just two guys but two brothers. But somehow it actually works for Dale Summers.

I so hated Laren and Kiernan god those two characters were the characters you love to hate except i just hated them for what they did to Dale.

Pierce oh my yummy, who doesn't love a broody hott man. God is he yummy with his dominant yet sensitive and serious side.

I will definitely look for more from this author she is great and has so much writing potential.

REVIEW: Beautifully Wicked (Voclain Academy Book 1) By Jordan Grant

A tortured antihero bound to a brutal contract.

A broken heroine with a sharp tongue.

A relationship that could save them both if she’ll allow it.

Ian Beckett, according to Harlow:

1. Voclain Academy’s drop-dead gorgeous, all-star quarterback.

P.S. Dear Ian: See number one and take the drop-dead part literally.

2. Sole heir to a massive family fortune that dates back centuries.

3. Wicked bane of my freakin’ existence with a PhD in dirty talk.

P.P.S. Dear Ian: Think of your mouth like a plane door. I’m gonna need you to keep it shut for the duration of our flight.

Harlow Weathersby, according to Ian:

1. Stunning creature with a smartass mouth I want to devour.

P.S. Harlow: Can we stop this already, sweetness? We both know you want me.

2. Blonde angel delivered from heaven straight into my lap.

3. Beautiful girl caught in a game she never wanted to be a part of and doesn’t understand.

P.P.S. Harlow: Stick around. I’ll teach you the Rules, sweetness.

From Jordan Grant comes an enemies-to-lovers, 94,000-word romance that takes the reader on a wild ride of epic clap-backs, Grade-A dirty talk, addiction, and loss.

This book contains bullying, foul language, and drug and alcohol use, which some readers may find triggering. The reader has a choice to end this book as a standalone or continue, after fair warning, to spoilers for Beautifully Wanted (Voclain Academy Book 2) coming Winter 2020.

Very well written for a young adult novel. There were so many turns and surprises throughout this story. I loved it.

I loved the two main characters how the author writes them and their back stories just pulls at your heart strings and how even if they are being difficult you cant help but understand and love them both with what they are dealing with.

The supposed bad guy The Thing i started to believe how horrible she was and then at the end you understand the entire truth and its soul wrenching and tear jerking. I so didn't expect what happened to her in her past .

Archie is an amazing supporting character and I just loved that him and Ian were constantly in competition but were best friends like no other.

I would love to see a novel about Archie and his love interest, he is such a charismatic and awesome character it would be wonderful.

Jordan Grant is a lost soul, who changed majors three times in college before settling on English. Because she has about as much patience as her beautiful, wonderful (did she mention ah-mazing!) toddler, she graduated a year early and then went to law school because, well... She mentioned she's a lost soul, right?

A special place in her heart is devoted to edgy alpha males and bad boys with naughty mouths. She loves to get lost in the blur between love and hate and is especially fond of prince charmings with dents in their crowns and strife in their souls.

She is an avid fan of all things sweet including red wine and cupcakes (red velvet, please!). When she's not daydreaming about the characters in her head, she enjoys (attempting to) garden, petting furry animals, and wrangling her husband and toddler into day-trip adventures.

REVIEW: Calypso's Heart By M. C. Solaris

Sexy shifters. Hot vampires. Intriguing immortals. Strong heroine. Sizzling romance. Fated Mates.

Caly
Do you dream of ridiculously hot men? Okay, maybe you do. But do you actually ever meet those men you dream about in real life? I didn't think so. That's probably a good thing though because I have... And these men from my dreams have done nothing but pull the rug of reality out from under me... which was how I fell and ended up in a world that I thought only existed in romance books.
My name is Caly (AKA Callie) and I'm just an ordinary single woman living the LA dream... paycheck to paycheck. Except whose dream is it? I'm not really sure... but it's not my dream. Especially because I have really weird dreams... like really weird. Then again, everyone has weird dreams, right?
Blake
I am an alpha wolf shifter and leader of Orion's Order, a pack of... well, not wolves. We're an unconventional pack of highly skilled specian hunters that do one thing: hunt the evil in our world. And we were hired by SILE (Species Investigative Law Enforcement) to hunt a bloodthirsty criminal who is infamously untraceable. That was until an irresistible female brought an unexpected twist to our hunt and set things in motion... a motion that has left my pack and our world forever changed.

This is a lovely novel, Im so excited I came across this author. She is wonderful.
Blake and Caly have a wonderful and fascinating story. It is so emotional with how they meet and end up together and become a family and the ending made me tear up and cry from happiness.
Caly is so amazing I just love her, fragile, sensitive, naive, but strong and will fight for anyone and everyone she loves. She blooms and her powers grow so much through this story.
The first half of the novel flows and goes pretty quick paced and fast but then second half i struggled with the flow of the story. I still absolutely loved the story-line, characters and book.

M. C. Solaris

M.C. Solaris's life took an unexpected turn during the super blood moon eclipse on January 20, 2019. She woke up and began writing bios for her imaginary friends that she met that day. As soon as the pen hit the paper (or fingertips to the iPhone), she couldn't stop. It was kind of like one of those fire hydrants, spewing copious amounts of water all over the place. The characters and their stories just flowed out of her. She is honored to be the scribe, getting to share her friends' stories. You can read all about her gifted friends in the Orion's Order series (Book 1 is Calypso's Heart).
On a personal note, M.C. Solaris is actually the pseudonym of Marina Schroeder, women's health enthusiast and lover of all things paranormal romance (PNR) and happily ever after (HEA). When she is not curled up on the sofa with her partner's oversized hoodie, a PNR novel, peppermint tea, and one of her three cats, you will find her either at the ocean with her toes in the sand or in a forest hugging a tree.
