I read stone silence and I jumped at the chance to read the rest in the series and that was a wonderful idea. I just fell in love with this series and this amazing author.

The emotions are overflowing in this story, in many different ways, and I was completely invested from start to finish. One thing that really amazes me about this author is her ability to write about realistic and difficult situations, character reactions and ways they deal with things, and content with the potential to be depressing, but the feel isn't a downer at all--everything about the story brings hope and inspiration and doesn't drag me down to the dumps. That right there is sincere talent. Taylor Dean--you have a new die-hard fan!

This book kept me in suspense for a deliciously long time as Shay and Jace reunited and tried to pick up the pieces of their shattered hearts. Six years have changed both of them, but they have to come to a closure and see if they can make their relationship work again. But what keeps them apart is a secret Jace has that Shay believes she knows. Until he can be honest with her about it, she refuses to give him her heart again. But the secret isn’t what she expects.

This story has quite a few twists and turns I didn’t see coming, but it made for a unique love story with a sensitive, hardly-talked about theme that I thoroughly enjoyed. I love how Dean throws in bizarre circumstances in her stories to make the reader think outside the box. I love the vicarious experiences she allows me to live through her characters. This was an amazing conclusion to an awesome series. I can’t say enough good about these books!!!!

My hometown decided to rename me Jailbird.

Love can be complicated, that's for sure. Mia made a colossal mistake, paid dearly for it, and her life-long boyfriend, Stony, moved on and now it's time for her to do the same. Isn't that easier said than done? Taylor Dean writes in first person, which really drew me in and caused me to deeply feel and understand the reasoning behind Mia's mistake.

I loved this book as much as the first one. Mia is suffering holding on to the past mistakes and needing forgiveness but too afraid to face Stony. She meets Grayson, Spencer's brother, and is drawn to his warmth and happiness. She wants to like herself and find happiness again. Grayson starts to pursue her and she doesn't know if she can handle dating Spencer's brother.

I am extremely addicted to Heather Moore novels. She is one of my favorite authors by far I love all of the books I have read of hers and this one doesn't disappoint at all. A must read book.

Alicia...I loved her character! She's a young woman who moved home to care for her mom. Her mom is dealing with a mental illness that causes her to hoard things. Her dad thinks she should leave, put her mom in some kind of home and use her marketing degree she worked so hard for. But Alicia can't stand the idea of leaving her alone, even though they are constantly fighting over her mom's hoarding tendencies. She's working at an exclusive restaurant in Pine Valley and one night who should walk in but her former best friend and crush Jeff, with an apparent model. When he doesn't appear to recognize her, she's kind of sad but willing to move on.

Jeff...he's a successful real estate agent in Pine Valley and he definitely does recognize Alicia, but he's a bit embarrassed about how he had treated her in high school. And he's most definitely not in love with the woman he's with. And he still has a crush on Alicia. I loved how Jeff was willing to do pretty much anything for Alicia to be able to get her to forgive him and give him another chance.

There's a lot that happens in this book, between Alicia's mom and Jeff's ex-girlfriend...so much crazy, fun stuff in the plot. It really kept me guessing. I loved every bit of it! And there's some great kissing in this one too!

REVIEW: Lightning Struck (Brothers Maledetti Book 3) Kindle Edition by Nichole Van

Chiara doesn’t like Jack. Jack doesn’t like Chiara.

The story should end there.
Except . . . maybe Chiara finds herself daydreaming far too often about Jack. And maybe Jack finds Chiara aggravating in an adorable sorta way.
Maybe Jack and Chiara find themselves falling in love.
The problem, of course, remains.
Jack is a ghost.
And Chiara is not.

Jack Knight-Snow has had a bad year for losing things. So far he has lost a ship full of ancient treasure, his family, his friends, his title, his lands and money, his fiancé, the century into which he was born . . . oh, and his physical body. I really wish I had read the two previous books in this series first which I am now dying to read.

Although it can be read as a stand-alone novel, as someone who has read the previous two Brothers Maledetti books I couldn't have loved this book more. Nichole Van is a brilliant writer, infusing the characters with their own unique personalities, and creating a family full of people you can't help but love and root for as they face their life-threatening challenges. So many twists and turns in not only Jack and Chiarra's lives, but the lives of all of the brothers.

The story of Chiara and her hot ghost, Jack will not let you stop reading as Chiara, her triplet brothers, Dante, Branwell and Tennyson try to find a way to release Jack from the purgatory of his trapped condition, dodge the mafia and wonder why that horrid black sludge keeps trying to snatch Jack away, all while trying to learn more about the curse that has driven the D’Angelo males crazy for multiple generations. I eagerly await the next installment.

What a wonderful author I cant wait to read more of her books.

The characters these authors wrote are engaging and fun. The plots are interesting and delightful.

Loved it! Had 2 of my favorite authors and one that was new to me. As always it is hard to really develop a short story but I really liked the stories in this one. Some of the more recent novellas have been a little lacking in story idea and content, but this one seemed to return to the golden formula or maybe just featured better authors.

Heather Moore is by far one of my favorite regency authors I just adore anything she collaborates with.
