Trying to piece together the events surrounding Brody’s death proves to be a daunting task, but Harley can’t give up. Brody won’t let her. He is still in the apartment with her, trapped in limbo until she finds his killer.
But he’s not waiting for revenge.

I absolutely couldnt put this down it was the normal books i read. I loved it.FUll of suprize and mystery. If you like ghost stories and mysteries with a lil love story mixed in this book is for you. I couldnt figure out who the murderer could be until it was right there in my face. And I was going oh god why didnt i see that.
 Nolan and his accent oh my lordy well what girl dont like a shy irish man come on now, and he has tattoos to boot.Yum.
 Harley oh how much I understand what she goes through in this story. Pushing Nolan away cause of fear cause of her past and what she is going through in her present.
 Aggie oh that poor girl.So sassy and feisty and of course a redhead to boot.What she goes through cause of Brody (the ghost)is heart wrenching.
 This is an absolute must read book

Once the trial begins, Brody discovers just how little he knew about his girlfriend, spurring him to dig into her past for possible answers. And as Aggie, his long time confidant and childhood crush, stands by his side through all of this, he finds his own past resurfacing when his feelings for her reignite. But as the media and the prosecutors close in on Nolan, ready to convict him for a crime he didn’t commit, Brody will be forced to make a choice.

A choice that will lead to his untimely death.




Such a fun short story. I loved hearing about Claire's death from his perspective. My heart broke with Aggie, even though I knew it was coming. I can't want to start book 3 in this saga. Ms. Howell really knows how to captivate a reader.

It keeps you on the edge of your seat. Twists and turns. A great mystery with a romantic twist to it with Aggie and Brody that ends so sadly.It truly made me cry.
A must read for anybody who likes an emotional mystery.

The funniest in the series!! Some very hilarious situations. Found myself grinning like an idiot while reading this!! Loved this story. Though Camden is an amazing character I still want Brody to like come back to life and take over and win his girl back. But it is an amazing story I get a lil caught up haha.
A great love story between at first an Irishman and a Scotswoman and then when Camden comes along two Scots.But who wouldnt fall for Aggie she is a feisty scottish woman with fiery red hair that wins your heart with her caring loving attitude.

But he can’t tell Harley. On the verge of marriage and parenthood, Nolan must figure out a way to deal with his past, or let it consume his future with Harley.

Harley’s always known she wasn’t normal. Seeing Brody’s ghost only confirmed that. But now a killer is on the loose in Midtown and she’s having visions of each victim’s death. Will she be able to help them and accept just how different she truly is? Pregnant, engaged, and contending with an overbearing mother-in-law, Harley isn’t sure she can take on the responsibility and the future laid out in front of her.

They say love conquers all. But as Nolan and Harley struggle with their own secrets, will their love be enough to keep them together?

Or will the things that haunt them finally tear them apart?




This was an amazing read. First of all, while it is Book 4 in a series and I have read along in order, one could read this book as a standalone without being lost. There is just enough backstory that it isn't redundant for someone following the entire series, but the majority of what's going on is new for this gang. We are treated alternately to the POV's of Harley and Nolan; it is good to 'hear' Harley again as she is a very likable character and a strong woman. Some more trouble manages to find its way to her but there is a good reason for that and it's explained in the story. While this is going on her fiance Nolan has his own personal drama to content with and each is sort of stuck in their own little worlds, neither giving full disclosure to the other. Some misunderstandings arise making for more drama which is always fun. The mother-in-law from hell adds even more emotion to this book . Harley oh Harley what can you say of all the characters you are my favorite.You are so me with your stubbornness and pigheaded attitude.And Nolan oh my lord who don't love a gorgeous sexy Irish man.
This book has action, mystery/thriller/suspense going on, murder, plenty of drama both familial and couples and a bit of paranormal and as always with Howell: humor. What I love is it's all set in small town New England where everyone seems to know everyone adding another side to the drama. This is a super fast read as Howell is able to paint clear pictures for the reader without being too wordy. Very well developed characters that I cannot seem to get enough of.  
Howell manages to work in a ton of laugh out loud parts making her books extra fun. Cross dressing, brawny guys, bets and drunken nights with hilarious consequences and just some really funny analogies. I think this series would work for fans of all genres, truly.

But something goes wrong.
Harley survives.
But someone…or something else is in there with her.

As this unknown, malevolent force fights for control, Harley finds herself a prisoner in her own body, and those she loves are now in mortal danger. Will she, Nolan, or anybody else be able to stop it before it’s too late?

Or will the Harley they know and love be lost to them forever?




Next to the first book this is my favorite it brings a new part of paranormal romance to this series. Harley's unselfish act is the most heartwarming thing ive ever read and I love it. Even though somehow it backfires and cause such pain and misery for everybody her included. Its just so sad.
Brilliantly written, realistic characters and perfect continuity are only part of what makes this whole saga a beautiful world that, despite all of the chaos and violence these people are subjected to, I actually want to be a part of. If ever you need a break from life, just escape into this Saga. I personally promise you wont have any regrets, except maybe that it has to end some time.
