This is an amazing set of books by this author. Oh how I didnt expect what this book was about. It was such a welcome suprize.. I absolutely love this authors writing style and how how she creates these characters and just pulls you into the story and back story.

Evie starts out as a woman having given up on meeting a guy for her happily ever after but who still wants a family of her own. Determined to get pregnant on her own terms. She is strong yet gentle and loving. Someone you wouldn't expect the power hungry and money hungry Jeremy to be with. But when they rekindle old flames damn do they suprize you in amazing ways.

Jeremy is something else entirely. Born into a cold family that has engrained in his that money and power are all that matters. His fathers will states he only inherits if he is married with a kid his one last way to screw Jeremy over in the end. That is until he sees Evie again and ends up coming up with a crazy plan that ends in ways neither of them ever expected.

This is one unexpected yet amazing love story for these two very different and unique characters. With struggles and frusterations, fights that neither know how to fix and learning how to adjust with a new person in their lives. Two new people in fact.

A must read and I can imagine anything by this amazing author is a must read.

REVIEW: The Remains in the Pond by Ann Swann

Senior prom is the happiest night of Gabi's life. Her crush has just revealed that he is every bit as infatuated with her as she is with him. When he has a car wreck and is transported to the hospital in a coma, Gabi feels as if she's taken a knife to the heart. But his jealous cousin, Rose, sees her chance to give the knife an even harder twist. She convinces Gabi to meet her at a local parking spot outside town. It's a night that will change several lives forever. One of the girls will return, and one will become known as the remains in the pond.

This story is a little bit retro. In 1999 there were no cell phones. Cordless phones were the newest and greatest innovation. Those and answering machines. Wall mounted phones with long, curly cords were the norm. The World Wide Web was still years away. If you needed to use a phone when away from home, you could use the nearest pay phone. This was really fun to read…a blast from the past. Not so far in the past that it’s not relatable to us today, just enough to remind us of our own youth. Our own proms. The magic and glitter.

Awesome book! I loved the “mystery” and the romance story lines. It kept me reading, especially wanting to know WHO’s Remains were in the pond, and HOW Gabi was going to get out of this delima.. The author is very good at descriptions, I am picturing all of the chapters, as if I were right beside characters. Good job Ann!!!!!

I enjoyed this novel. Even though it is a fairly new released novel, it is based on life in the 90s – no cell phones, no technology really, except the sporadic mention of email. That threw me just a little bit, because I kept yelling out while reading for the characters to just use their smartphones, but they didn’t have them back then.

Other than that, this is a great novel. It has love, mystery, friendship, and finding yourself when you have no idea who you are or who you want to be. Life can be tricky in high school and right after. You are thrown into the adult world, without being surrounded by family and friends that you have had for the last 18 years. But life has a way of working itself out, sometimes when you least expect it.

This is a really great read, a wonderful mystery that starts after the crime happens and leads you down the path of the only suspect that the police have. It such a wonderful mystery story.

I'm a big fan of Rachel Anderson books she is such an amazing writer and I have read quite a few and never been disappointed.

I wouldn't change a thing about this book. Often when I read a book there is something I would change about it. That is not the case with My Sister's Intended. I love it just as it is.

This book if funny, entertaining, Rachael Anderson has yet to disappoint me. Read most of her books, and they are all good, but this one was the best!

Awesome book started and couldn’t stop!! Characters lively and fun. Loved Scamp and Brute!! Made me smile and laugh! I LOVE books that take me on a vacation from my life this book did that and I was sad to see the last page come. Looking forward to the next two books.

I read stone silence and I jumped at the chance to read the rest in the series and that was a wonderful idea. I just fell in love with this series and this amazing author.

a must read for sure....

The emotions are overflowing in this story, in many different ways, and I was completely invested from start to finish. One thing that really amazes me about this author is her ability to write about realistic and difficult situations, character reactions and ways they deal with things, and content with the potential to be depressing, but the feel isn't a downer at all--everything about the story brings hope and inspiration and doesn't drag me down to the dumps. That right there is sincere talent. Taylor Dean--you have a new die-hard fan!

This book kept me in suspense for a deliciously long time as Shay and Jace reunited and tried to pick up the pieces of their shattered hearts. Six years have changed both of them, but they have to come to a closure and see if they can make their relationship work again. But what keeps them apart is a secret Jace has that Shay believes she knows. Until he can be honest with her about it, she refuses to give him her heart again. But the secret isn’t what she expects.

This story has quite a few twists and turns I didn’t see coming, but it made for a unique love story with a sensitive, hardly-talked about theme that I thoroughly enjoyed. I love how Dean throws in bizarre circumstances in her stories to make the reader think outside the box. I love the vicarious experiences she allows me to live through her characters. This was an amazing conclusion to an awesome series. I can’t say enough good about these books!!!!
