Another amazing bOok by Michelle Paige Holmes and she definitely doesnt disapoint at all. I have become a big fan of this author as I have reviewed many of her books and I have fallen in love with each character and book she writes. She is truly one of the top authors out there right now.

THis is a wonderful novel about The Scottish/British termoil and how a young man gets through his father being murdered and ends up meeting a competing scotish family where he slowly grows up and his and a young girl fall in love.

Collin and Katie not a pair you imagine to fall in love but it works and they just fit and compliment eachother.

Collin is definitely a different character full of pride and family honor. In the begining he is utterly stunned that a lil child such as Katie would dare talk to him but at the same time he cant be cruel to an innocent young child.

I wont lie I have a big weakness for Scottish novels they just call to me and this one was no different absolutely amazing.

Michele Paige Holmes spent her childhood and youth in Arizona and northern California, often curled up with a good book instead of out enjoying the sunshine. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Elementary Education and found it an excellent major in which to indulge her love of children's literature.

She is the author of nine published romance novels, which include books in the STARS Series (contemporary romance), HEARTHFIRE HISTORICALS, and the FOREVER AFTER series (young adult fairy tales). She is also the author of three novellas, two in the TIMELESS ROMANCE COLLECTION.
