REVIEW: The Rise Of The Dawnstar (The Avalonian Cronicles) By Farah Oomerbhoy

The rise of the Dawnstar By Farah Oomerbhoy

Synopsis

Aurora Firedrake returns in the spellbinding sequel to The Last of the Firedrakes.

The seven kingdoms of Avalonia are crumbling and evil is spreading across the land like a plague. Queen Morgana is close to finding a way to open The Book of Abraxas and it's only a matter of time until she uses the power trapped inside its pages to enslave the entire world.

With Avalonia growing more dangerous by the day, Aurora must travel through war-torn lands and deep into the heart of the fae kingdom of Elfi. Her goal is to find a legendary weapon infused with the last of the realm's ancient magic-the only weapon in the world powerful enough to stop the queen.

Aurora might have survived her first battle against Morgana, but the true fight to save her kingdom and restore her throne has only just begun...

This is a great book. I had to review it later than i expected but I did want to review it as I was very intrigued by the sound of it. I was definitely not disappointed.

It is a very quest like adventure that you follow these three heros/ characters in to find a way to save themselves and the people from and evil woman.

I love these fantasy types of books so i definitely delved into this and absolutely loved it without a doubt.

Aurora what a beautiful amazing character that is willing to do whatever she must to save the people. I sense a massive attraction to Rafe her traveling companion but no spoilers.

Rafe oh what a great character to behold. He definitely helps guide Aurora in finding what she needs to save their people and themselves from the evil woman Morgana who wants their blood. Rafe is royalty and so has many ties to other royals which is very helpful in their search for something magical to help their cause.

A must read for anyone who love young adult fantasy novels
