REVIEW: Reliant Service (A Colony Series Paranormal Romance) By Regina Morris

Vampire COLONY agent, Daniel Brighton, undergoes an identity crisis after being publicly shot while saving the President of the United States. After his fake funeral and altering his appearance, Daniel reluctantly accepts a sabbatical from his team to chaperone a young pop-star on a tour across Europe. She’s a struggling artist who knows nothing about the supernatural. Daniel realizes she is an undeveloped half-breed vampire and latent witch, with a dark past leading directly back to the presidential vampire team that can shake it to it’s very core.

This was an amazing book. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. But once it started unfolding I was hooked and couldn't put it down. A great wonderful plot with great twists around every corner.
I just love Daniel's character. He has an old world charm to him. Ancient, wise, sweet , kind, adorable and sexy as hell.
Lori's character at first seems young, annoying and way too into herself and the social media thing. But once you realize that is just one side of her, you really grow to love her character that is so sweet natured.
The love that Daniel and Lori form together after many trials is unbreakable. He would do anything for her and she takes every moment with him as precious.
The twists and turns throughout this story are crazy. What Lori goes through and learns about herself and her family in the process is amazing.
5 stars all the way

Dead Girl Walking Royal Reaper Book # 1 Review

I wasnt sure about this book at first. It seemed like a very odd different story. But I quickly got addicted and wasnt able to put it down. I've never come across quite a story as this one. Princesses and royalty mixed with creatures like Grim Reapers and Dark Angels. Its a truly amazing read.
Ophelia is a Princess that dies because she sneaks out with a boy. At first I wasnt very happy with her character, but once she becomes a Reaper and befriends Wynter she really starts to grow up and is easy to relate to.
Now Wynter, he is that bad boy mixed with a good guy trying to do the right thing. I can honestly see his character in my head when reading about him. Thats how vivid my vision of that character is.
Ophelia or Leila as she is refered to in this book and Wynter have an amazing friendship that turns into what any person could want a supportive relationship.Even after the tragic death of the only boy she ever loved Larkin, she opens up to Wynter and their relationship blooms. even though there is a dark cloud hanging above it. Wynter finds himself in a predicament to help Leila save her sister from death and has to become a Dark Angel in the process.Him turning is what really gives their relationship the kick in the pants it needed.
I really enjoyed this story I dont care what anybody says if you enjoy fantasy novels with a supernatural kick to them. You will adore this book. A must read

Forget Me Knot Royal Reaper Book # 2 Review

I was completely enthralled by dead girl walking so much that i emediately started reading the seond book as soon as i was done with the first.I was so glued to this story. Leila and Wynter's story is an amazing one. How much they love and care for eachother. Even though they continuously get themselves and the people they love in trouble, and are always putting eachother in danger. They never stop caring.
In this next book. Leila takes such an amazing journey. She is suspended as a reaper and gets attacked and kidnapped by something Wynter had crossed.
Wynter does whatever it takes to get her back and save her life once its put in perrill once again.
Amazing end to this two book series. I personally would love to see more about the stories of Juliana and Edon and of course Violetta and Jasper that has got to make a great love story. jasper fights for her for so long and when they finally do get together its such a secret in these two books. Excited for more books from this author. She is a truly amazing author.

This was a very different story. It was M.S. Parker's normal book. I liked it. Great strong characters that have this strong amazing attraction towards each other. But their love is so forbidden. It cannot be. Yet they struggle and want it all the same.
The Princess was strong yet so very vulnerable in her situation.Reed is the sexy, gorgeous yet unwise knight in shining armor.

Review - 4 stars!

Overall - I think this anthology was an awesome read.  I enjoyed each story in it, some more than others, but not a single one would I describe as a waste of time.  So any fan of these authors, or New Adult Romances in general, should pick up this one!

Each story is connected to each other.  Each author writes the love story of one college student who shares a house with three other women.  Each woman gets their own story.  Lovely!

Behind Her Eyes by A.L. Jackson  - 4 stars!

So oddly enough, while the whole reason I read this anthology was because of A.L. Jackson’s story, this story wasn’t my favorite.  However, it was pretty close.  I loved Misha and despite not loving this story as much as one other story in this bundle, my favorite love interest was Darryn.  He was just more badass than the rest of the guys.

Saving Me by Molly McAdams - 4 stars!

This story was a fun read.  I laughed so hard at first at Indy’s little forgetting problem and felt so badly for Kier because of it.  Kier might have been my least favorite of the men but that wasn’t because he was quiet.  It was because of his past.  Can’t say more without spoilers.  However, well worth my time to read.

Fouling Out by Tiffany King - 3.5 Stars!

Obviously, this wasn’t my favorite one of the four stories.  I did LOVE Dalton.  He was awesome.  I even understood why Courtney was upset at first, but after you become an adult and look back on your childhood, no one should be angry after his explanation.  I mean, we all drift from friend or family, or do stupid things as teenagers or kids that we cringe to think about once we know better, so… honestly, she let it go thankfully, just not fast enough for me.  Lastly, the pacing during the passionate scenes was off to me.  However, it was entertaining!

Beneath Your Layers by Christina Lee - 4.5 stars!

My favorite story of the anthology!  I’ve never read anything by Christina Lee before but I adored this story.  It moved me a lot more than any of the other stories.  I loved Blake a ton!  He’s not my favorite man in the anthology, but he’s close.  However, Chloe was my favorite female in the book.  Maybe because I could relate to her more than the others.  I have lists too!  The chemistry between Blake and Chloe was explosive, the scenes between them lovely.

About the Authors

A.L. Jackson

A.L. Jackson is the New York Times bestselling author of Take This Regret and Lost to You, as well as other contemporary romance titles, including Pulled, When We Collide, If Forever Comes, Come to Me Quietly, and Come to Me Softly.

She first found a love for writing during her days as a young mother and college student. She filled the journals she carried with short stories and poems used as an emotional outlet for the difficulties and joys she found in day-to-day life.

Years later, she shared a short story she’d been working on with her two closest friends and, with their encouragement, this story became her first full length novel. A.L. now spends her days writing in Southern Arizona where she lives with her husband and three children.

Molly McAdams

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughters. When she's not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies and fried pickles, and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm ... or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.

Tiffany King

USA Today Bestselling author Tiffany King is a lifelong reading fanatic who is now living her dream as a writer, weaving Young Adult and New Adult romance tales for others to enjoy. She has a loving husband and two wonderful kids. (Five, if you count her three spoiled cats). Her addictions include: Her iphone and ipad, chocolate, Diet Coke, chocolate, Harry Potter, chocolate, zombies and her favorite TV shows. Want to know what they are? Just ask.

Christina Lee

Once upon a time, I lived in New York City and was a wardrobe stylist. I spent my days shopping for photo shoots, getting into cabs, eating amazing food, and drinking coffee at my favorite hangouts.

Now I live in the Midwest with my husband and son—my two favorite guys. I've been a clinical social worker and a special education teacher. But it wasn't until I wrote a weekly column for the local newspaper that I realized I could turn the fairytales inside my head into the reality of writing fiction.
