Sept 26th
Roman Calder had a scorching affair with the sister of one of his best friends. Augustine Spencer drove him so crazy he thought of nothing but her. The only thing they did more often than heat the sheets was fight. Unprepared for the intensity of their relationship, Roman broke things off and concentrated on things that made sense to him: his career and putting his best friend, Zack Hayes, in the White House.

Gus Spencer is known to Washington insiders as the president’s secret weapon. Gorgeous and brilliant, Gus runs the press pool with the determination of a shark. No one dares to cross her, not when she’s known for having a spine of steel…but long ago one man melted her down. Despite the fact that she’ll never forgive Roman for breaking her heart, now that they work together she can’t get him off her mind.

When a dangerous investigation leads both Roman and Gus to London, the heat between them becomes unbearable. As they begin to unravel an international conspiracy, they find themselves falling all over again. But when a killer threatens their world, can they fight to stay together or will the sins of their past keep them forever apart?

REVIEW: My Paper Heart (Book 1) By Magan Vernon

Getting into my top choice sorority? Done.

Dating one of the hottest guys in the biggest fraternity? Done.

Failing out of College? Oops...

When Libby Gentry's parents receive the letter that she's failed out of school, Libby is forced to pack her Prada bag and head to work for her great aunt in rural Louisiana.

Nothing about tiny Elsbury, Louisiana, entices her until she locks eyes with the southern charmer, Blaine Crabtree.

Libby is used to getting what she wants and Blaine is no exception, but as the two grow closer, bigger problems arise.

Libby doesn't know how much more pain her already paper-thin heart can take and when new opportunities in Chicago pop up she is presented with a difficult situation: wait for her redneck Romeo, or move on.

Oh my what an amazing book. It is first in a four part series that I desperately am wanting to read now.

Libby thinks her life is ending when her bf is repeately caught cheating on her and she flunks out of college and her parents sent her to her great aunts in louisiana to work for her.
But she emediately meets Blaine a boy that thinks he can boss her around and man handle her for everything he seems to think she is doing wrong.

Blaine oh my what a droolworthy man he is epitimy of the kind of guy you would want to attract. A hard working man looking out so that women dont get hurt by the wrong guys. But hes cocky and full of himself not to add that hes the town playboy that has pretty much slept with everything in town.

This book had me in tears a few times for what Blaine puts Libby through. They both have these heartbreaking pasts with their ex's that broke their hearts and you just feel so much for both of these characters.

I felt very connected with Libby's character as we are very similar putting our entire hearts into something and not getting back what we expect and it breaking out little hearts. It was amazing to read about her and she is so strong and such a temper. Loved her and I cannot wait to read more of the books in this series.

Megan Vernon has been living off of reader tears since she wrote her first short story in 2004. She now spends her time killing off fictional characters, pretending to plot while she really just watches Netflix, and she tries to do this all while her two young children run amok around her Texas ranch.

REVIEW: Just One Summer By A. D. Justice

Jagger York is the sexy, confident lead singer of a popular band who plans to take his music to the next level. Mali Greyson is a sheltered good girl who has her sights set on the gold–Olympic gold. Their paths would’ve never crossed until a mutual friend introduces them one summer night.
Jagger can give Mali the one thing she secretly wants and desperately needs–the courage to be a little wild and crazy. Mali can give Jagger the one thing he desperately seeks–access to her father, a well-known, music producer.
The deal is they both walk away at the end of the season. No strings, no regrets, and no looking back. This agreement is supposed to last for just one summer. But this one summer may just turn out to be too hot to handle.

This was an enthralling book. I got a book and decided it peaked my curiosity and boy was I glad I did. I whipped through and couldn't put this book down till I finished it.

Jagger is the lead singer of a band named after himself which at first you think makes him just so full of himself. Sexy, gorgeous, great voice and has all the ladies drooling over him with no urge for anything serious with any of them. Until....

Mali oh what a girl sexy gorgeous shy and a spitfire for sure. She is on her summer break before she goes back to training to get into the Olympic swim team. The second she sees Jagger she is hooked but she so tries to steer clear and play it cool, knowing his past she comes up with a scheme to benefit them both but what happens in the end nobody not his friends him or her would have ever expected.

Its really a great love story other than Mali running off every 5 seconds haha something I can totally relate to and would probably still do lol.

A.D Justice is an amazing author now I knew this before because I have read a few of her other novels. Which were equally amazing.

Anybody that likes a good raunchy romance this is a must read.

5 stars.

A.D. Justice is the USA Today best selling author of the Steele Security Series (Wicked Games, Wicked Ties, Wicked Nights, Wicked Intentions), the Crazy Series (Crazy Maybe, Crazy Baby), the Dominic Powers series (Her Dom, Her Dom’s Lesson), and two stand-alone books, Just One Summer and Intent.
When she’s not writing, she’s spending time with her own alpha male character in their north Georgia mountain home. She is also an avid reader of romance novels, a master at procrastination, a chocolate sommelier, a twister of words, and speaks fluent sarcasm. An avid animal lover, A.D. Justice has three horses, two dogs, and one cat.
While the primary focus of her books have been romantic suspense, she has plans to expand into different sub-genres of romance. Stay tuned to read what she has in store for you!

REVIEW: David's Song By A. R. Talley

Annie only ever loved two men in her life. One broke her heart, the other married her. Four children and fifteen years later, Annie’s marriage is in trouble. Money is tight, arguments are plenty. Her husband questions the very foundation of their relationship. At his insistence, Annie takes off on a girl’s retreat in Las Vegas—a week to unwind and relieve stress. He hopes the old adage, “absence makes the heart grow fonder” will apply. But Las Vegas has its own challenges. Annie meets up with the young man who broke her heart—a man who is now a music megastar. Torn between long ago memories and a family she loves, Annie must decide which is of greater value—A second chance at lost love and unfulfilled dreams? Or commitment, trust, and love built on years of experience? David’s Song may be the deciding factor.

Oh my lordy this is one powerful novel that keeps you on the edge of your seat. This author writes these characters so strongly that you get attached and their emotions take you over. I kept crying all throughout this emotional book.

I just loved it.

Annie what a lovely character. So much like myself in her demeaner and personality and this she goes through with family, men and her work. I could definitely relate to her character.

David oh David. This is one of those guys you want to hate but hes so frigging charming you really cannot hate him. I really do love his charismatic creative character and I would go back and forth with if I wanted them to get together or not.

The amazing Jeremy. He is essentially a perfect man. The boy next door. Sweet kind loving patient smart not pushy or mean or hurtful. I so wanted to be mad at him at the end of this book for hurting Annie but at the same time I wanted them to get their happily ever after. But god I love Jeremy he is the nice guy you want to get the girl. Hes the guy every girl should fall for.

This is one strong love story that takes you back to what happened to Annie in her past back in college and brings you to a future that you arnt sure what or who she will end up with.

Love love love it. I cant wait to read more from this complelling author. Truly amazing.

This book contains adult content it is not recommended for readers under the age of 18

What an amazing little novel I read it within a few hours because I was so addicted to this amazing storyline that this author has created for us. This author immediately pulls you into Rena and Aran's amazing story, leaving no room for you not to become addicted to their amazing lovestory.Erotic but definitely amazing.
Rena what a very complicated and difficult woman but so smart and intelligent that you cannot love her .
And Aran holy moly just reading about him makes my mouth water. He is one truly amazing character who when you first read his character has no hope for finding his true love and his mate. But by the end of this story is sure he has.
I absolutely love this author and cannot wait to read more of these books
I have read similar unconventional erotic love stories that I would never thought would appeal to me. Im so trying not let out spoilers but if you love scifi and action mixed with love and erotica this is a must read.

REVIEW: Taja's Dragon By Lisa Daniels

Taja’s Dragon

Taja’s doll-like good looks had made her the plaything of nobles for most of her life, but now she wants to make her own path. Even under the acting stable master, life is better. When an attractive foreign noble continues to appear when she needs help, Taja begins to fear that she will be pulled back into the life she left.

The way Phelan treats Taja is not like his behavior toward anyone else. With her, Phelan appears to want only to see her happy. When he talks with anyone else, his attitude is rather cold and condescending. Yet he somehow manages to win people over despite his attitude.

Determination sets her on a new and dangerous path. The question is should she go it alone, or is the noble more than what he seems?

Such a cute wonderful novella that definitely pulls you in and keeps you wondering what will happen next in Taja's story.

This book is  agreat start to introducing you to the storyline of these characters.
What Taja goes through in her life and what she finds out about who she truly is .Its just an amazing story. I got so hooked I didnt even realize I was almost done reading it.

And Phelen oh my what a great character. Mysterious and sweet and caring and nothing like the other men she has met in her life. What he reveals to her about her past will change her life forever.

Lisa Daniels is a (young) retired school teacher who resides in Miami. After five years of teaching,
Lisa Daniels found that it wasn’t quite the world that she wanted to inhabit. After leaving her position, she moved to Miami. She hasn’t regretted it.
In her worlds, Lisa Daniels creates characters that go beyond the usual narrative. While they definitively include romance, Lisa Daniels strives to make the worlds more real with characters that are more than just cardboard cutouts of the genre. All of the main characters (and many of the secondary ones) have a rich history that span much longer than the stories themselves. This makes it easy to weave the stories together so that you can see characters you met in previous tales and see how they have managed since. Letera is a world teaming with romance, action, and stories – it is a world that Lisa Daniels loves to explore with her readers, one character at a time.

REVIEW: Feast Of Fates (Book One Of The Four Feasts Till Darkness Series) By Christian A. Brown

Morigan lives a quiet life as the handmaiden to a fatherly old sorcerer named Thackery. But when she crosses paths with Caenith, a not wholly mortal man, her world changes forever. Their meeting sparks long buried magical powers deep within Morigan. As she attempts to understand her newfound abilities, unbidden visions begin to plague her—visions that show a devastating madness descending on one of the Immortal Kings who rules the land. With Morigan growing more powerful each day, the leaders of the realm soon realize that this young woman could hold the key to their destruction. Suddenly, Morigan finds herself beset by enemies, and she must master her mysterious gifts if she is to survive.
This is one dynamic author. The first installment in a four book series is such an amazing start. I was definitely hooked. He really is amazing at building a story you can imagine as you read it and making you fall in love with each and every character he writes even the ones you love to hate.

The clash of two immortal kings is felt throughout the realm in Feast of Fates by Christian A. Brown. No tired story lines or boring characters here; Brown has created a thrilling, action-packed fantasy suffused with elements of folklore and legend, and spiced with a bit of metal magic for some steampunk flair.

Geadhain is on the brink of an all-out war, and the fates and prophecies seem bleak. The peaceful kingdoms of Eod and Zioch, led by mystical brothers Magnus and Brutus, are in danger; a mysterious dark force is invading from within. To the east, the ever-menacing city of Menos looms, led by the Iron Queen as she waits for revenge and watches for a chance to strike.
Heroes, heroines, villains, sages, sorcerers, knights, kings, witches, thieves, necromancers, and shape-shifters converge in a plentiful cast, each with a unique history, voice, and role to play in Feast of Fates. No one is quite who they seem, and when a humble sorcerer’s errand girl, Morigan Lostarot, whirls into the Wolf’s blacksmith shop, the gears of fate put into motion an unstoppable force.

Absolutely cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
