REVIEW: The Soul Stealer's Child By Brandon Gray

Wow just wow. I absolutely loved this book it was so amazing. I couldn't put it down.A young adult sci-fi type of fantasy novel that was completely different from the other book ive read by this author. It was very nicely suprizing.

A demon child and an angel child. I can honestly say i thought their identities were the complete opposite of what it ends up being in the end. I was pleasantly suprize by the turning twist of fate this author brought to the novel.

James is an old fashioned type of guy, he loves anything and everything old fashioned, and despises everything teenagers his age like. That is until he meets and gets to know Lucy.

They get to know each-other and get closer and closer as they gain feelings that grow stronger and stronger each day. But when their polar opposite true identities come to the surface its an explosion of crazy reactions.

This is a must read for anyone into fantasy, sci-fi, romantic, or young adult books. Absolutely amazing and i for one cannot wait until this author writes more for this series.

By far one of my favorite new authors.

REVIEW: The Emerald Key By Mark Frederickson and Melora Pineda

Penny and Laci are headed for a mundane summer vacation until a 

mysterious journal unlocks a portal to another world and they 

find themselves face to face with a baby dragon. 

In an attempt to send their new acquisition back to its home, 

the girls, along with two neighborhood friends, get sucked 

through to a mythical world. In this land, they must battle foes 

seen and unseen, pushing them to both their physical and mental 

limits. If they fail to stop the powers they’ve unleashed, it 

could not only destroy this strange world, but also annihilate 

their home. 

A great fantasy young adult novel full of adventure through a 

mythical world.I really enjoyed this author for sure.

Penny and Laci and such different and unique characters and go 

through so much after opening this book of horrors.Laci lives 

mostly through books. Her best friend, Penny, stands up for her 

when she won’t do it for herself. They are opposites, Penny is 

an athlete and a chic dresser. Laci is a bookworm and dresses 

for comfort. She’s a bit of a klutz too.

Wonderful world building, likeable characters, plenty of action 

and suspense, this was a delightfully enjoyable read. 

A great new young adult author to be sure.

REVIEW: Genesis Girl (Blank Slate: Book 1) By Jennifer Bardsley

Eighteen-year-old Blanca has lived a sheltered life. Her entire childhood has been spent at Tabula Rasa School where she’s been protected from the Internet. 

Blanca has never been online and doesn’t even know how to text. Her lack of a virtual footprint makes her extremely valuable, and upon graduation, Blanca and those like her are sold to the highest bidders.

Blanca is purchased by Cal McNeal, who uses her to achieve personal gain. But the McNeals are soon horrified by just how obedient and non-defiant Blanca is. All those mind-numbing years locked away from society have made her mind almost impenetrable. 

By the time Blanca is ready to think for herself, she is trapped. Her only chance of escape is to go online.

I loved the take on this dystopian/ futuristic world. I really enjoyed the romance that grew through out the novel.

Fast-paced and action-packed, this was a book I had a hard time putting down. I desperately wanted Blanca to claim the life Cal wants her to have, complete with freedom and the ability to do the things she wants to do. As a main character, she’s very intriguing—because of how she was raised, she has no idea what she wants in life or how to achieve it. 

The main character in GENESIS GIRL is Blanca, a Vestal who is auctioned off to the highest bidder. Except instead of being on billboards and magazine covers selling soap, Blanca’s buyer, Cal, has a different idea. He wants her to act as his daughter, and help him gain a relationship with his estranged son, Seth, who is the total opposite of Blanca—technology-addicted and the operator of an online blog intent on exposing Vestals. 

I love how completely original the concept of the story is.

Classic Regency romance with a dash of suspense . . .

I love the regency romance novels that I can find. This one was 

amazing and i absolutely love this author. It was so amazing 

that she added the spy twist to this romance gave it a lil more 

action and pep to it.

Penelope of what can you say the poor girl is so stuck in the 

eyes of society. What is and isnt right and finding her way 

through it all.

Beau what an intriguing man with so many secrets to unravel 

throught out this book. He is a wonderfully romantic type 

character and falls hard and fast for this girl. But worries 

about what he has gotten her into because of his life.

A must read for anyone into romance novels.

Sometimes you come across a book that makes you think. It makes 

you think about your actions and the difference that one person 

can make. This book did that for me.It was a little bizarre at 

first, with Summer being in a car accident, and being taken to 

the future to restart the human race.

Summer is a teen who is dealing with some hard things. She and 

her twin sister, Winter, live with a relative. Their father has 

not been a part of their lives and their mother has passed away. 

They are different in personality, but bonded and there for each 

other.

Summer is a little rebellious. She does not take things at face 

value. She questions. She follows her conscience. She pushes the 

limits. Her personality makes a very interesting story. I love 

that she is a strong character with high morals. She doesn't 

give in or up when faced with hard choices. She takes the 

difficult road to make things better for society, instead of 

thinking of just herself. She looks beneath the surface of a 

problem and tries to find solutions.

FUll of twists and turns and unexpected craziness its a great 

young adult novel that is definitely worth the read.

If you are into history you will love the nazi german 

futuristicness. If you are into strong women that can change 

their fate you will love it.

 I have to say Im addicted to Jade and Logan's story so this book i immediately got into. I adore both characters and what they go through to get to each-other. Their love is so beautiful and amazing how they balance each-other out and protect each-other even though they get into so much trouble because of it.

Violet on a very scary rampage, Jade in emotional turmoil, and Logan is wrapped up in it all, leading to one crazy ride that grabs your attention from the start. With the help of Chloe and Graham, Jade starts moving with her abilities and emotions instead of against them.

Violet at first she is definitely the bad guy that you want to hate and her anger is on a scary escalate to psychotic. But her pain is so hard and rough with nobody to be there for her. U start to feel for her. Shes the bad guy you love to hate. But i always wish she could find someone to be with, part of my happily ever after brain ha ha.

This author is one of my favorite by far. She is amazing and should definitely be at the top of the best sellers list. I cant wait for a new series by her that I can read
